Susie Garlington studied art and design at the Atlanta School of Art. She feels that some design elements are common to furniture, jewelry, gardens and interiors and has been involved in all aspects of the creative process. Along the way, she started and directed the art program at the Atlanta Speech School. "Teaching art to children for eleven years was a rare pleasure." Susie also painted on the Art Train as it made its' way through Georgia. Her work has been featured in two books on interiors and several magazines. She continues to paint, her first love; and has not lost her love for jewelry design, garden design and interiors.
"A creative mind doesn't know where to stop and always takes delight in new challenges, no matter what they may involve."
